DeClawing "IS" Amputation Of The Entire Joint!!

We are against any!  There is an enormous variety of scratching posts, climbers, in price ranges, or have fun making your own personalized ones. Kittens/cats from a breeding program are trained by their mother and the owner to use scratchers before you bring them home.   Keep kitty nails clipped every other week if you're concerned they could leave a pockmark on your furniture.

Laser Ligamentation: Think about having your own first joint severed/removed from each finger. Your nail continues to grow and still has to be clipped.  The first joint is dangling all the time and does not work.  It can get bent backward, get caught on something and be ripped off.  The cat can trip and break a leg, neck, back.  No use of that first joint anymore.

  PAWS NEED CLAWS CAMPAIGN

The repercussions are not worth it for the cat and anyone who owns the cat.  Cat registries, clubs, associations are all against declawing in any manner.

Important Health Tips About Litter, Litter Box Use

We can't impress enough how important it is to scoop twice a day or more, and sanitize the scooper "after every time you use it", and to clean and sanitize the litter boxes once a week to keep germs and virus' at bay.  Many people forget, or do not even think about doing these things.  Cleaning and Sanitizing the scooper every time, and litter boxes every week is very helpful to your kitties, it's health and yours.  It's also recommended you replace litter entirely about every 2-3 weeks.  The schedule for a single, to multiple  cat household is on the back side of cat litter bags usually.  Cat's are naturally very particular about having a clean place to eliminate and a place with enough room to maneuver and then cover up their waste, and also to know that when they return to the box there's room for them to use it again without getting any waste on them.  It's instinctive for a cat to use a clean area of the litter box every time.  It is a built-in instinct for their health.  Give them enough room and keep a clean box to help with their health and happiness and yours.   Electric litter boxes in the large sizes will keep the box scooped out all the time.

You could be surprised and relieved to know all that a Germicidal kills and how easy, safe, economical they are.
